Executive Chef Brendan O’Dea
Chef Brendan O’Dea has a wide variety of experience in the culinary field holding Executive Chef & Management positions in fine dining industry, hotels, resorts and restaurants for 15 years. Working with the likes of Top Chef Spike Mendelsohn in Washington DC to launch his special events company, as well as being the Executive Chef/Food and Beverage director for the Preakness Stakes are some of his most recent accomplishments. Chef Brendan also spent time as the cooking Chef for William-Sonoma’s cooking classes.
Brendan has come back home to Annapolis to reconnect with Sam’s and finish what he started several years ago. His passion for food is deeply rooted within his family. His brother is a pastry chef and has been in two shows on food network over the last two years, something Brendan aspires to do alongside his brother one day. Starting at an early age on a kitchen stool next to his mother he learned how to cook and fell in love with food. Brendan’s ultimate goal as a chef is to make amazing from scratch food, that is regionally inspired, that will make people have an experience they will never forget and want to come back for more.
He is only as talented as the great staff he has around him and brings with him a greatly motivated kitchen staff committed to creativity, excellence and great food. He looks forward to bring a new level of culinary execution that will please your palates and give you not only a meal, but a dinning experience you will always remember.
